YP Classics 6506 Structured 5-Panel Mesh Back Retro Trucker Cap with Adjustable Snapback Closure
Yupoong 6506 — five-panel retro trucker, built for screenprinting
The 6506 is a five-panel, and that's the whole point. Five panels means the front is a single piece of fabric with no center seam running up the middle. Yupoong says outright it's built for screenprinting, and that's why — you can't screenprint across a seam, but you can print flat across an uninterrupted front all day.
For a decorator that changes the math. Screenprinting a cap runs cheaper than embroidery once volume gets up, and it handles fine detail and gradients that thread can't. If you're quoting a 500-cap job with a complex logo, this is the blank that makes the number work.
Hard buckram, fully structured, 3½″ mid-profile crown. Permacurv bill with matching underbill and eight rows of stitching. Mesh back, matching snapback closure. One size fits all, 6⅝″ to 7⅝″.
Before you order — fabric transition
Yupoong has changed the fabric content on this style from 65% polyester / 35% cotton to 74% polyester / 26% cotton, and mixed stock will ship for a period of time. Two things follow from that if you're printing:
- Ink adhesion and cure can differ between the two blends. A higher polyester content behaves differently under heat, so a screen setup dialed in on one batch may need adjusting on the other.
- Dye lots can read slightly different across blends on the same color name.
Practical answer: order the whole job in one batch rather than splitting across weeks, and pull your test print from the same carton you'll run. Ask us and we'll tell you what's in the warehouse.

Decorating
Screenprinting is the headline use, but the seamless front works just as well for embroidery, heat transfer, patches, and woven labels — anything that would otherwise have to dodge a center seam. The five-panel front also gives you more usable width than a six-panel, so a wide wordmark lands without crowding the edges.
