The Hat Pros started in 2002 as a home-based custom embroidery shop, run in the hours around a Navy career. What began as a side operation in Southern California became a full-time business in 2008, when we moved online and discovered something we hadn't planned on: the blank caps we were buying to decorate were in as much demand as the decorated ones. Other decorators needed them. Retailers needed them. Nobody was making it easy to buy them.

So we started selling blanks. We added marketplaces in 2014, moved the company from California to Tennessee, and have grown every year since. Today we're a family-owned business of fewer than ten people — most of them family — doing roughly $8 million a year in blank headwear. We are veteran-owned; the Navy career that started all of this ended with retirement in 2016.

Why THP Wholesale exists

For years, our larger buyers were placing volume orders through a storefront built for people buying one hat. It worked, but it asked a lot of them — retail-oriented navigation, no way to filter by the specifications that actually matter to a trade buyer, and quantities that had to be negotiated rather than simply ordered.

THP Wholesale is the site those customers asked for. Same company, same inventory, same warehouses. Built for buyers who order by the case: filter by closure, panel count, crown structure and profile, see live stock before you commit, and order without a conversation.

How we ship

We're headquartered in Arlington, Tennessee, and we ship from here and from nine warehouses across the country. That distribution is the reason we can promise what we promise: orders placed by 2PM Central ship the same business day, shipping is free on every order, and stock levels you see on the site are live rather than estimated.

It also means most of the country is within a two-day ground zone of one of our locations, without paying for expedited service.

What we sell — and what we don't

We sell blanks. Undecorated, unbranded, ready for whatever you do to them. We do not embroider, print, or decorate for wholesale customers, and we don't compete with you for your accounts. If you're a decorator, a promotional distributor, a team dealer, or a retailer selling blank, we're a supplier and nothing else.

The $300 minimum is what makes free same-day shipping and trade pricing work. Mix styles, colors and sizes freely to reach it — there is no per-color or per-style minimum inside an order. You don't need an account, an application, or a reseller number to buy: hit the minimum and check out.

Twenty-plus years of doing this

We have shipped hats to decorators, schools, teams, breweries, outfitters, and marketing agencies since before most of the brands we carry had a wholesale program.
